
Position Overview
Vice President of Finance & Accounting
Based in Brea, CA and reporting to the CFO, the new Vice President will be responsible for leading the Finance and Accounting function. He/ She will oversee monthly financial close process and is responsible for integrity of financial statements. The role is responsible for the implementation of the new Business Services function (AP, Payroll, Fixed Assets), as well as Cost and Commodity Accounting and International Accounting.
He/ she will establish trust and credibility with the leadership team while demonstrating a strong understanding of the business and industry, this person will identify trends, offer insights, and provide information and analysis on a timely basis. Additionally, the role works closely with Finance PMO office to drive team and technical transformation and will lead the relationship with external auditors (Deloitte). The ideal candidate will bring a creative mindset to tackle any and all tasks. He/ She will assist in developing strategies and plans to assure the company improves its competitive position, safeguards its assets, and achieves its goals and objectives.
The successful candidate will be highly entrepreneurial, thrive on collaboration and possess a holistic and deep understanding of the elements to drive a profitable operation. The VP will lead, nurture, and grow teams with responsibility over Financial, Accounting, Controllership for the organization. A key priority will be to continue the development of each individual staff member while enhancing the overall capability and capacity of the team.
