Vice President of Finance & Accounting

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience with breadth and depth in finance, accounting/controlling and tax functions. The candidate must have experience serving in a similar capacity as a CFO, Vice President, or Director of Finance with comparable scope of responsibilities.

Additional qualifications include but are not limited to the following:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or other related field from a fully accredited university is required.
  • Master’s Degree is preferred (MBA).
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license and/or CMA license is preferred.
  • Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Business Experience:

  • Direct management experience over the following functions: accounting/controlling, financial planning & analysis, financial reporting, and consolidations.
  • Big 4 accounting experience preferred.
  • Prior accountability for U.S. tax regulations and an understanding of tax optimization.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, analysis, and projections.
  • Track record of developing timely, accurate, and reliable financial analysis to support key business decisions and strategies.
  • Working knowledge of short- and long-term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and product-line profitability analysis.

Executive Team Participation and Leadership:

  • Experience participating as a member of a senior management team and contributing to the development of business strategies.
  • Demonstrated passion for learning the business and industry and providing meaningful insights to the senior management team.
  • Possess cultural agility and the capability to work in a multicultural and multi-disciplinary global business environment.
  • Data-oriented and analytical with strong strategic-orientation and problem-solving skills.
