The Culture of the
National Sales Director

The National Sales Director will be responsible for all sales. This individual will use creativity, KPIs and comprehensive knowledge of the sales process to provide innovative ideas for business growth. This individual is accountable for professional brand representation throughout all industry events and in all client and stakeholder communication. The National Sales Director will be responsible for delivering enhanced business practices to assigned distribution partners, increase STARC Systems’ ability to capitalize on opportunities for growth and to mitigate risk. This individual will be a member of the sales Leadership Team working with a peer group of similar levels, responsible for translating national sales strategies & business goals into specific objectives for execution through the development of strategic, integrated customer business plans. The National Sales Director will deliver assigned volume and financial objectives within specified targets. He/ She will build and ensure strong relationships between customers, field sales, national and regional accounts, large leverage operators, and Central Marketing. The National Sales Director will manage, develop, and align field sales teams in accordance with the business unit’s goals and objectives. STARC Systems is looking to grow revenue from their current $15M to $50M within the next three years. Achievement of this goal requires an all-star sales team.

The successful candidate will be able to consistently generate, qualify, pursue, and close opportunities that provide profitable revenue. Working with STARC Systems will require a hands-on approach. This individual will consistently build an effective pipeline and execute each phase of the sales process. STARC Systems is transitioning to a period of increased organization and a metrics driven sales effort. This individual will be expected to articulate business solutions that resonate with the customer and demonstrates a thorough understanding of business practices, industry trends, and the competitive landscape to carry out a repeatable sales process.
