Regularly meets with senior management of the customer to develop collaborative business plans measured by joint scorecard metrics
Develop and implement effective sales strategies
Lead nationwide sales team members to achieve sales targets
Develop and/or execute innovative category strategies and initiatives related to product mix and new items
Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
Align resources to support distribution partner needs: analytics, technology, learning and development, etc.
Leverage data and insights to activate customer solutions
Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts
Interact with cross-functional teams within the company and at assigned distribution accounts
Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities
Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients’ needs
Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency
Stay up to date with new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board
Act as lead for assigned distribution accounts with direct account responsibility
Proactively translate business strategic priorities to plans of action for assigned distribution partners, adjusting plans and resources to maximize results
Reconcile company and customer financial objectives in creating and revising business plans and budgets
Develop and deliver major opportunities, which have significant impact at the highest levels in the organizations
Create compelling selling stories around value proposition
