Plant Manager

The Plant Manager of the Elkmont, AL plant will be directing and managing all plant manufacturing and maintenance activities through supervisory personnel on all shifts. The successful candidate will foster and promote a team environment within and between departments and shifts to aid in accomplishing plant goals. This person will be responsible and accountable for results and achieving a competitive advantage in terms of safety, costs, methods, quality, delivery, operations, and personnel. As well as, to plan for and direct the effective use of personnel and equipment, coordinating with production planning, purchasing, and other related support functions. The new Plant Manager will recommend changes to the overall operation of the plant through the use of RCI initiatives to keep safety, quality, and cost improvements moving forward.

The Plant Manager will be responsible for the overall management and leadership of Elkmont operations to achieve a competitive advantage in Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost/profitability. The facility is a growing, 3 shift operation manufacturing and assembly of low-medium volume, high mix variety hand tools. The role will have oversight of 100+ non-union associates and a facility that is 75,000 square feet.
