POSITION OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the ideal candidate has experience as a Chief Financial Officer of a service-based business, like health care, credit cards, banking, collections, or subprime lending, and will bring experience from companies with relevant scale and complexity, including a high degree of regulation and/or compliance. Candidates should have worked extensively with high transaction, complex billing processes, complex labor and productivity service businesses, and demonstrate a passion for continuous improvement, leveraging technology, and performance and financial measures to drive operational efficiencies. Prior experience in a leveraged environment with a disciplined approach to cash management, cost containment, and management of lender relationships is preferred but not required. An undergraduate degree in accounting or finance is preferred; M.B.A. or master's degree in finance and/or CPA is preferred.
The new Chief Financial Officer will be based in Charlotte, NC in order to lead alongside the Executive level management team and lead by example with a hunger for growth. Resolvion’s new Chief Financial Officer will provide informed and objective counsel on business issues and will offer technical and experience-based advice to peer executives and staff. Along with the rest of the executive leadership team, this individual should be a strong and proactive advocate for value creation. The primary focus of the role will be to ensure the ongoing development and management of financial processes, systems, accounting and controls, reporting, financial planning, and decision support, tax, compliance, and cash and balance sheet management. The Chief Financial Officer will be accountable for the finance functions, HR, business intelligence, and operations. The candidate that will be most successful in this role will be very technology-focused and data-driven in their reporting and decision making.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as a thought partner with the Chief Operating Officer and operations team to deliver efficiencies across the organization.
- Ensure the finance team has a clear and compelling vision of 'what great looks like and a plan around how to achieve it.
- Lead the team in process improvements for the department to create effective and efficient forecasting and budgeting process.
- The business is highly transaction-intensive and requires the coordination of the finance, operations, and IT functions to understand profitability and execute operational KPIs.
- Advise critical business decisions to drive growth and actively contribute to the evolution and execution of strategic business plans, including strategic planning, organic growth, new products/markets, and M&A.
- Create a culture and capability within the distributed finance function of continuous growth and improvement in profitability, managing costs, creating efficiencies, and mitigating.
- Ensure the finance team provides timely insights into financial trends and forecasts as a catalyst to proactive business management.
- As part of the executive team, drive culture and processes in line with company values and performance expectations.
- Ensure appropriate risk mitigation through systematic risk assessment and risk mitigation tools and processes.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field, Master’s Degree in Finance/ or CPA preferred.
- 10 years of experience in a financial management role.
- 5+ years of experience in a supervisory role with proven ability to manage direct reports.
- Strong financial and analytical ability with demonstrated ability to operate financial systems.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills and the ability to interact with a broad constituency.
- Results-oriented and high energy with the highest level of personal integrity.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
