This person will be comfortable creating the new and the different and will possess the analytical skills to elevate the company’s marketing as a point of differentiation in the marketplace.

  • Results-Oriented: The Marketing Manager must be performance-driven and able to provide measurable results. The successful candidate will be resourceful, action-oriented, innovative, flexible and a decisive leader who establishes clarity in the midst of distractions to produce results in a timely fashion. This individual will provide clear direction and establish achievable goals and will actively lead the marketing efforts to ensure success.

  • Communication: This individual should possess very strong communication, listening, and persuasion skills, in order to truly collaborate within the organization. The successful candidate should be comfortable, articulate, and dynamic in front of both external and internal audiences. This individual will be honest, candid, and authentic, and will possess strong conflict resolution skills.

  • Perspective: This individual will provide perspective of industry influences to assist in guiding the company in new directions. The Marketing Manager will aid in the collective leadership team’s understanding and acceptance of trends, insights, changing business perspective and marketing strategies. This keen perspective should be presented with patience and guidance rather than authoritative.

  • Strategic Agility: The Marketing Manager will possess the analytical skills to improve overall productivity and elevate the marketing efforts of the organization. This person must not only embrace change, but be entrepreneurial in nature, creating and altering the road map along the way.

  • Leadership Acumen and Team Orientation: Charged with elevating the overall talent of the marketing department, this individual will foster a culture of accountability and results. The company requires a hands-on, team-oriented individual who is capable of consistently motivating people to act and perform beyond the expected. This individual will be a strong leader who possesses a comfortable coaching style and uses it strategically to improve team performance.
