Business Development Manager
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITES
- Planning and overseeing new commercial market initiatives
- Researching organization and individuals to find new opportunities (industrial, road maintenance, animal nutrition and health, etc.)
- Follow up on customer inquiries related to new applications as well as contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings
- Increasing value of current customers while attracting new ones
- Attending conferences, meeting, and industry events… some travel required
- Developing quotes and proposals
- Develops strategic plans and pricing for each viable prospect as part of the overall strategic marketing plan
