
Chief Development Officer
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES
- Work closely with the CEO on identifying and executing on strategic growth initiatives. Collaborate effectively with CEO in analyzing market issues, trends, and opportunities.
- Work with executive management team to develop and execute the company’s strategic growth plan.
- Identify and address financial risks and opportunities for the company.
- Support and partner with the CEO and board members on all major growth initiatives.
- Collaborate with the CEO, Director of Finance, and Development Committee to develop and implement company financial strategy.
- Actively work with the CEO, Development Staff, and senior staff to develop and implement a comprehensive development strategy.
- Have primary responsibility for development and execution of all proposals. Monitor and report regularly on the progress of the development program.
- Train, develop, lead, and mentor the development team.
- Help build out a best-in-class development department.
- Support the CEO day-to-day with growth knowledge and advice.
- Guide the business as they go through a period of high growth.
- Develop a strategic role and partnership with the CEO.
- Be capable of taking on more leadership responsibility in the organization.
- Assist with a future sale of the company to a strategic buyer.
