POSITION OVERVIEW

Kraft Heinz Away From Home is seeking a Manager, Foodservice Field Marketing, who will act as a product lead from a marketing and merchandising perspective. This position requires the candidate to accompany the sales team during client visits or field engagements. This individual will play a crucial role in developing and executing marketing and sales strategies and operations to drive growth and enhance brand presence within the foodservice industry. The successful candidate’s primary focus will be to engage with AFH customers in the foodservice sector, including restaurants, cafes, hotels, and other hospitality establishments, to create compelling marketing campaigns and initiatives that align with their business objectives.

The Manager, Foodservice Field Marketing will develop new marketing campaigns that are innovative and effective marketing campaigns tailored to the foodservice industry. The ideal candidate will work closely with the marketing team and other stakeholders to conceptualize, plan, and execute campaigns that align with the overall marketing strategy and business objectives. Additionally, the Manager, Foodservice Field Marketing will also oversee the implementation of these campaigns, monitor their performance, and analyze the results to measure their effectiveness. Based on the insights gathered, this individual will continuously refine and improve future marketing initiatives. The candidate will travel with the culinary team and work in the test kitchens.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Act as a product lead from a marketing and merchandising perspective.
  • Develop and execute marketing and sales strategies and operations to drive growth and enhance brand presence within the foodservice industry.
  • Travel with the culinary team and work in the test kitchens.
  • Accompany the sales team during client visits or field engagements.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, consumer behavior, and competitor strategies within the foodservice industry.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and senior management to define the foodservice marketing strategy and set clear objectives. Develop comprehensive plans and budgets for field marketing activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and decision-makers in the foodservice industry.
  • Work closely with sales teams to understand customer needs and develop marketing programs that address those needs.
  • Create and implement brand awareness campaigns tailored for the foodservice segment.
  • Develop marketing materials, including sales collateral, presentations, and promotional items, to effectively promote AFH products and services.
  • Support the successful launch of new products in the foodservice market through targeted marketing activities, including product demonstrations and sampling programs.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of field marketing initiatives. Analyze campaign metrics and feedback from customers to measure success and make data-driven improvements.
  • Responsible for the allocation and management of the foodservice field marketing budget. Ensure cost-effectiveness and efficient use of resources.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years experience in foodservice or related industry marketing, with a track record of successful marketing campaigns and promotions.
  • Strong understanding of the foodservice industry, including its pricing, trends, challenges, and customer dynamics.
  • Experience selling into a corporate environment.
  • Product development and product analysis experience.
  • Experience developing new product initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate marketing plans and strategies effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams and work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
  • Proficient in data analysis and using insights to inform marketing decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
