Vice President of Finance - Supply Chain
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITES
- Provide strategic financial leadership for Supply Chain by partnering with Senior Supply Chain Management to develop a long-term strategy which positions Kontoor’s Supply Chain as a significant sustainable competitive advantage.
- Define and execute, in coordination with Supply Chain Management and the finance organization, a Supply Chain finance organization structure which effectively supports the global Supply Chain organization.
- Determine and implement the systems, processes and reporting which provides management with consistent/comparable operational and financial data from across Supply Chain allowing the identification of profit improvement opportunities and driving operational excellence.
- Develop and maintain a management system to analyze and report the financial and non-financial Supply Chain operational performance; develop and implement sound accounting and financial processes which seamlessly support the Supply Chain business objectives, strategies and organizational structure.
- Define the methodology and implement the process for allocating the cost of consolidated Supply Chain overhead support functions to the coalitions; develop financial analysis to effectively evaluate key Supply Chain strategic, tactical and investment decisions.
- Develop and lead the annual budgeting and strategic planning processes and the monthly forecasting process for the consolidated Supply Chain.
- Coordinate the development of annual Supply Chain cost savings initiatives and financial/non-financial goals/metrics. Develop and implement a monthly process which effectively monitors and consistently reports progress against these initiatives and goals/metrics.
- Coordinate the preparation of the Supply Chain regular reviews and presentations in conjunction with other members of Supply Chain Senior Management.
- Ensure compliance with all corporate accounting policies and financial reporting practices, and ensure that internal controls exists throughout Supply Chain which are SOX compliant.
- Ensure all inventory measurements, controls, forecasting, and disposition policies and procedures are defined and executed.
- Oversee all product costing activities globally to ensure consistency and accuracy in methodology and execution.
- Continually champion profit and process improvement opportunities within the Financial and Supply Chain organizations.
- Identify and drive cash flow improvement opportunities within the Supply Chain function.
- Lead all decision support analysis required for Supply Chain including, but not limited to, make vs. buy, sourcing, and procurement activities.
- Establish succession planning for key financial management positions in the Supply Chain organization and training/developmental opportunities for the financial staff with the goal of developing a world class financial function.
