The Scope of the Vice President & General Manager of Global Digital

The Vice President & GM of Global Digital will be based in Greensboro and report to Tom Waldron the President of Wrangler and EMEA and work closely with Chris Waldeck the President of Lee and APAC, sitting on both Brand Leadership Teams. The new Vice President & GM is a pivotal role and will be tasked with winning in Owned.com (Lee.com, Wragnler.com) and winning with Digital Titans to step-change Lee & Wrangler’s e-commerce sales and digital transformation to more deeply engage with our consumers.

This senior level leader will collaborate closely with Merchandising, Strategy, Marketing, Planning, IT, Design and Retail leaders to develop and implement a seamless and well-integrated omni-channel shopping experience. With full P&L accountability for US-owned.com, the Vice President & GM must have a business owner's mindset. And, we anticipate that once the .com model is perfected in the US that this model and P&L responsibility will expand beyond the U.S. to places like Europe. In addition to US P&L this person must be able to develop and influence our strategy and execution within all regions (Incl. EMEA and APAC) to win with digital around the world, setting direction, developing strategy and bringing best-in-class insights for digital transformation across all our digital business around the world.

The successful candidate will be highly entrepreneurial, thrive on collaboration, and possess a holistic and deep understanding of the elements of a profitable e-commerce operation, including site experience, merchandising, content, digital marketing and analytics, client engagement, consumer acquisition, conversion, and retention, order fulfillment and logistics, and the technical aspects of website management. They also will be visionary in terms of laying the foundation and strategy for the next global step-change in digital growth and e-commerce sales incl. how to drive global omni-channel experience, how to develop the right business partners to grow the life-style brand and how to grow new business development opportunities.
