POSITION OVERVIEW
Based near any Kinetics USA office location, the new Senior Vice President (SVP) will report directly to the President of Kinetic Systems, Inc (KSI) North America (hereafter “President”). This person will work with KSI’s President to drive the further development of the North American business unit with the strategic focus on operational excellence, supporting sales growth, process development, sustainability, and diversification of the existing product portfolio.
The new SVP will lead a team to enhance the efficiency, goal achievement, and profitability of the company in a highly competitive marketplace. This individual will provide clear, compelling, and collaborative management that ensures both support for and fulfillment of the corporate core strategy in a manner consistent with the values, culture and purpose of this organization and support for the KSI- North America President’s vision. In conjunction with the President, this individual will lead the implementation of a strategic plan to advance the company’s mission and objectives and to promote revenue, profitability, and growth as an organization. This person will manage teams focused on our operations and operations support functions such as virtual design and construction, procurement, fabrication, and project controls. This individual will also collaborate closely with our Equipment teams to drive equipment and facilities management revenue growth.
Additional advancement opportunities include management oversight of business development and preconstruction, finance, and information technology. This role will support the direction of the company with a strong focus on customer relationships, innovation, markets, efficient operations, effective utilization of capital, thoughtful investments, team accountability and unity, effective communication to all company constituents, follow-through on plans, resolve challenges, and a focus on profitability.
The successful candidate will be highly organized, excellent at planning and self-management, thrive on collaboration and team building, and possess a holistic and deep understanding of the elements necessary to execute on the plan and drive a sustainable operation. The new SVP will nurture and grow teams with responsibility for a diverse group of staff. A key priority will be to continue the development of each individual staff member while enhancing the overall capability and capacity of the team and being the “glue” to hold everything together.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Further development of the North America business unit’s growth and process development with corresponding sustainability, further diversification of the existing product portfolio.
- People management, leadership of employees, approaching leadership with enthusiasm and passing on of enthusiasm for systems, solutions, and companies, and creation of trust in each employee’s performance.
- Intensive process and product commitment, control of the value chain, and key account management
- Support of existing key accounts as a member of the corresponding dedicated account team. Develop the team with innovative ideas and approaches.
PERFORMANCE
Business Management / Strategy
- Prioritization of vertical and geographic markets in the Construction & Installation business in coordination with the Equipment and Facility Management business. Further development of relationship management and project management, from the points of view of costs, deadlines, and quality for all of Kinetics.
Business Excellence
- Further development of tools and measures for process optimization across all functions, driving continuous improvement and Implementation of standardized business processes.
Project Management
- Ensuring professional project management in accordance with group processes/specifications.
- Development and maintenance of customer relationships.
- Implementation of projects in accordance with the contractual obligations, in the agreed time and within the agreed budget
Risk Management
- Carrying out risk assessments before preparing offers. Conducting regular project reviews during execution. Identification and minimization of risks during the project
