Kinetics was founded in 1973 and is a global service provider and producer for process and process technology, specializing in the design and installation of process, pipeline, HVAC systems and equipment for the ultra-high media supply. Demanding customers from the fields of microelectronics, solar industry, biopharmaceutical industry, data centers, research and healthcare have been relying on the high-quality Kinetics products and services for decades. The range of services includes project management, engineering, prefabrication, 3D modeling, manufacturing installation as well as test and commissioning. The product range includes dosing units for chemicals, mixing and dosing systems for chemicals and slurries and distribution panels and cabinets for gases. The spectrum is completed by water purification systems and ultra-pure water systems.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Based near any Kinetics USA office location, the new Executive Vice President (EVP) will report directly to the Global CEO of the organization. This person will drive the further development of the North American business unit with a strategic focus on growth, process development, sustainability, and the further diversification of the existing product portfolio.
The new EVP will lead a team to expand revenue and enhance the profitability of the company in a highly competitive marketplace. This individual will provide clear, compelling, and collaborative leadership that ensures both support for and fulfillment of the corporate core strategy in a manner consistent with the values, culture, and purpose of this organization. In conjunction with the CEO, this individual will lead the development of a strategic plan to advance the company’s mission and objectives and to promote revenue, profitability, and growth as an organization. This leader will head an executive team focused on operations, finance, sales, human resources, information technology and quality assurance, etc. This role has to lead the direction of the company with a strong focus on customer relationships, innovation, markets, efficient operations, effective utilization of capital, thoughtful investments, inspiring team leadership, effective communication to all company constituents, and a profitable vision for the future.
The successful candidate will be highly entrepreneurial, thrive on collaboration and possess a holistic and deep understanding of the elements to drive a profitable operation. The new EVP will lead, nurture and grow teams with responsibility over a diverse group of staff. A key priority will be to continue the development of each individual staff member while enhancing the overall capability and capacity of the team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Business Management / Strategy: Prioritization of channels and customer segments in the equipment business in coordination with the facility management business. Further development of relationship management, project management and case management from the points of view of costs, deadlines and quality
- Business Excellence: Further development of tools and measures for process optimization in Sales & BD, driving continuous improvement. Implementation of standardized and high-quality joint processes
- Project Management: Ensuring professional project management in accordance with group processes/specifications. Development and maintenance of customer relationships. Implementation of projects in accordance with the contractual obligations, in the agreed time and within the agreed budget
- Risk Management: Carrying out risk assessments before preparing offers. Conducting regular project reviews during execution. Identification and minimization of risks during the project
People Management & Social Value:
- Development of sustainable processes and people. Further development of the leadership culture with appropriate professionalization. Further development of customer satisfaction, business development, and a real partnership ethos within the product side of the business.
- Further development of the North America business unit from the point of view of growth and processes with corresponding sustainability, further diversification of the existing product portfolio.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Engineer, industrial engineer ideally, with additional commercial training/MBA and special knowledge and experience in the industrial OEM business.
- Leadership experience with demanding teams, decision-making reliability, and building trust. Leadership experience in an environment with high development intensity and corresponding employees, we are looking for a doer and leader of a team, one who inspires and motivates, a director and entrepreneurial manager.
- Assessment of risks as well as complex understanding in the handling of customer projects including the assessment of earnings risks, this also in the phase of acquisition and bidding with the aim of increasing efficiency.

- Corresponding experience in dealing with a customer organization, in customer management on a national and international level combined with tact and the ability to open new customer accounts.
- Knowledge in key account and relationship management for the maintenance and establishment and expansion of corresponding networks with customers and multipliers with the aim of identifying projects in advance.
