Position Overview

Senior Office Director

Jensen Hughes is seeking a Senior Office Director to be based in New York City. Reporting to the Vice President of Operations the Senior Director will oversee operations, mentor staff and maximize the profitability and revenue of the New York office. The new Senior Director will be a subject matter expert and work closely with the executive team to act as a change agent. He/She will quickly build client credibility and continue the tradition of Jensen Hughes executing on some of the most technical and challenging projects in the industry. The Senior Director will lead 15+ technical staff including fire protection engineers, CAD and life safety professionals. He/She will be responsible for development of staff and continuously elevating the talent of the organization. The ideal candidate will be humble, hungry and intellectually curious. He/She will provide a positive and engaging work environment by hiring outstanding talent; aligning individual and team objectives to department and company objectives; managing and supporting employee development and growth; providing regular and direct feedback on performance and goal progress. This role has to lead the direction of the company with a strong focus on delivering projects.
