Director of MEP, HVAC

Goldman Copeland is seeking a Director of MEP, HVAC to be based in New York City. Reporting to the Principal Engineer, this role will oversee operations, mentor staff, and lead by example with the values of Goldman Copeland in the New York office. The new Director of MEP, HVAC will be a subject matter expert and work closely with the leadership team to act as a change agent. He/She will quickly build client credibility and continue the tradition of Goldman Copeland executing on some of the most technical, challenging, and iconic projects in the industry. The Director of MEP, HVAC will lead 10+ technical staff. He/She will be an externally focused leader responsible for development of staff and continuously elevating the talent of the organization through leading by example. The ideal candidate will have proven engineering ability, client liaison experience, and a strong interest in career growth. Work will include feasibility studies and condition surveys, detailed design, and technical assistance during the construction phase of projects ranging from high rise commercial properties to hospitals, schools, colleges, theater complexes, transportation facilities, and historic renovation projects.
