Director of Transaction Advisory Services


ROLE & RESPONSIBILITES

  • Manage and prioritize engagements and responsibilities appropriately - Effectively handles all relationship matters with clients, with limited Managing Director involvement.
  • Manage multiple projects of varying size and complexity – Capable of overseeing $2M+ in active engagements.
  • Identify potential transaction risks and implement strategies to address risks.
  • Assist Managing Directors and Partners in sales and business development efforts.
  • Contribute to sales pursuits by generating new client business and/or adding on business from current client.
  • Identify and pursue referrals from existing clients and new client opportunities by attending industry conferences.
  • Managing and executing financial due diligence engagements.
  • Developing and communicating fees and timelines.
  • Analyze financial and operational results of businesses to be acquired or sold through reviewing accounting records and conducting interviews with management.
  • Identifying negotiation factors for purchase price and deal structuring.
  • Identifying post-acquisition action steps to achieve anticipated earnings/cash flow improvements.
  • Constantly researching industry trends and technologies, as well as seasonality and cyclicality on cash flow requirements to provide knowledge and insight to clients.
  • Understanding FGMK service lines and actively present ways the firm can successfully serve clients.
  • Counsel and mentor all levels of employees - Handle personnel matters with employees effectively, including but not limited to difficult career counseling situations.
  • Proactively recruit, train and develop individuals of all levels.
  • Engage in training initiatives, including developing and teaching courses as appropriate.
