POSITION OVERVIEW
The Product Application Engineer is responsible for the day-to-day support of production workflows by ensuring that all CNC data being supplied from the Technical department is correct and will not cause any issues within the manufacturing facility as well as swiftly addressing any CNC process related issues occurring at any given workstation.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conducting requirements gathering and documentation for changes required to production workflows and outlining how they affect the current implemented software solutions.
- Work closely with the IT Projects group on creating and implementing changes within the Entekra production control system.
- Provide training to both office and factory staff on the tools provided to production for the facility's day-to-day operation.
- Work with the overall team to carry out root cause analysis of all defects and non-conformance issues and support the implementation of agreed corrective action.
- Collecting and analyzing performance data (including Performance Management OEE) to ensure it operates at agreed engineering, product specification, and output standards.
- Develop hsbMake skills; Understand and maintain hsbMake system updates, protect the system from corruption, understand significant product updates and their effects on current functions, understand hsbMake configuration tools and relationship to hsbDesign as well as many other hsbMake related functions

- Microsoft Excel and Word proficient.
- Autocad Proficient – intermediate-level knowledge in the use of 2D and 3D modeling.
- hsbCAD experience is desirable.
- Power BI experience is desirable.
- SQL experience is desirable.
