DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES

  • Act as a member of the senior management team and a leader in the senior living industry. Participate in the formulation and ongoing refinement of a corporate strategy and oversee execution against that strategy to enhance profitability, productivity and efficiency throughout the company’s senior living operations. Attend and participate in professional workshops and seminars to keep abreast of current changes in the senior living industry, as well as maintain licensed status in at least one state in the division. Lead by example to actively drive a culture of collaboration, communication, accountability, excellence and innovation.
  • Oversee operations for all communities within the company to ensure an exceptional resident and team member experience and a high degree of operational excellence. With the divisional and regional teams, develop and review monthly/quarterly/annual business plans for each community to ensure operational excellence and compliance with strategic objectives.
  • Review and approve each division’s annual operating budget and capital expenditure plan as required by corporate policy and obtain governing body approval. Provide direction and support to the regional teams in achieving defined objectives.
  • Provide financial and operational information to financial intermediaries and the board of director group.
  • Participate in vendor negotiations to ensure product relevance and cost-efficiency.
  • Partner closely with the corporate office and individual department heads to ensure that company’s operational priorities are aligned with total company direction.
  • Continually access operations and introduce process improvement measures and present suggestions to the Chair of the Board or relevant functional department leaders for consideration.
  • Implement improved processes and management methods to generate higher ROI and workflow optimization.
  • Set up and maintain an organized and effective communication process across community, regional and corporate teams to allow for an open exchange relating to concerns, problem solving, and peer discussions as well as general information exchange.
