
Chief Operating Officer
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES
Business Strategy and P&L Leadership:
- Strengthen and advance the strategic business plan to profitably grow the Company revenue across its three business units
- Responsible for resolving company strategy on a continuous basis and ensuring all employees understand the details of the strategic plan and how their work connects to EBI goals
- Full P&L responsibility for the Company’s sales/business development function, marketing team and operating groups including sales/revenue, costs, project delivery, profitability and financial outcomes
- Accountable for leading an organization delivering superior client service and achieving high levels of client satisfaction
- Responsible for assessing whether strategic initiatives, across all divisions and at all levels of the organization, are in line with the company’s standards and objectives
- Leverage metrics, business analytics and work practices to maximize team productivity and organizational performance
- Responsible for establishing transparency and accountability for those carrying out EBI strategy at all levels of the organization
- Assume additional responsibilities as assigned by EBI Ownership to assist in the growth and leadership of the organization
- Align the leadership team on the strategy and drive decision making that sustains organizational change
Sales Management and Account Leadership:
- Lead the Company’s business development/sales strategy, process and team to drive profitable growth
- Oversee the Company’s key account program to maximize revenue growth from portfolio of top clients
- Enhance EBI’s culture of solving client needs with technology-based solutions and thought leadership
- Establish KPIs and dashboards for defining successful relationships with clients (including measures of customer satisfaction) and foster sales accountability through visible companywide data and metrics
- Lead the firm’s marketing team with focus on strengthening the company’s brand and leveraging market/client insights to support the company’s business development efforts
- Collaborate extensively across the organization to drive cross-selling and grow business opportunity
- Create and implement a longer-term plan for growth as well as organization-wide execution of growth-generating strategies
