SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of bachelor’s degree in Business/Operations Management/Finance or other related field, MBA or related master’s degree preferred
- 10+ years of progressive experience in a key leadership/management role
- Senior Management or Executive level experience managing multiple departments
- Strong understanding of budgeting/expense management with a basic understanding of financial and accounting practices
- Must have strong business knowledge and experience with the ability to provide reports and analysis of financial position and forecasts, develop and implement strategic plans within the context of the larger picture
- Skilled in planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating a wide variety of activities, developing implementing and communicating policies and procedures for a large organization and implementing fiscal management policies, analyzing data, making sound recommendations and adopting effective causes of action, working tactfully with all levels of the organization
- Must demonstrate and maintain integrity, credibility, be a sensible risk taker, practice proactive leadership, accountable, adaptable, be a forward-thinker, and have a strategic mindset
- Previous experience/best practices implementing and using continuous improvement/lean tools such as: Six Sigma, ISO 9001:2018, Lean Manufacturing, Transactional Lean, etc. to drive improvement
- Demonstrated strong leadership, team building and advanced coaching skills
- Demonstrated ability to motivate people, assess and develop employee skills
- Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to balance production and maintenance needs.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and listening ability, specifically with other departments, employees, customers, sales personnel and the general public
- A strong ability to be adaptable and flexible
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Ability to work with teams and lead decision-making processes in a team environment
- Strong computer skills including the ability to prepare spreadsheets and use Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Power Point and/or Access) to analyze data and trends
