POSITION OVERVIEW
Comhar Partners is looking for a Senior Recruiter to join our Professional Recruiting Division. Responsibilities include coordinating our hiring process, sourcing qualified candidates, and applying advanced interviewing techniques. This role is also responsible for ensuring a high level of customer service, delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience, while maintaining consistent communication to all parties involved throughout the interview process. Ultimately, we are looking for someone who will employ their specialized skills and network with us to bring the right people on board.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of sales experience in the executive search or staffing industries, a strong professional drive, great passion, and self-direction to join our Professional Recruiting Division in the New York City office.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for full cycle recruitment for open positions across all core corporate business functions. This includes sourcing, interviewing, scheduling candidates, providing feedback, and negotiating & extending offers
- Provide ad-hoc recruitment in other functional areas as needed
- Meet with hiring managers upon approval of the Project Manager to discuss role responsibilities and requirements; provide consistent communication throughout open search
- Maintain Key Hires Database. This includes updating the candidate database, inputting weekly journal entries into Key Hires, tracking candidate status, and assisting with updating data records
- Manage and update weekly progress reports and provide concise updates to Directors and Hiring Managers when necessary
- Track performance metrics on a project-by-project basis
- Build a strong candidate pipeline through proactive sourcing
- Support the implementation of talent acquisition projects
- Help establish connections with professional groups, communities, and other organizations
- Qualify, interview, and present qualified candidates for each engagement
- Coordinate candidate interviews with HR business partners
- Assist with hiring and onboarding candidates
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years experience in a similar role desired
- Understanding of fast paced environment
- Ensure the highest standard of confidentiality and professionalism
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and recruiting systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to multi-task, have superior judgment, professionalism, poise
- Great initiative with the ability to be a collaborative and team player
- Positive, professional attitude and presence, ability to exhibit exceptional customer service/interpersonal skills
- Strong sense of urgency and follow-up skills
- Proven success as a recruiter
- Hands-on experience in the entire recruitment life cycle
- Industry hiring experience is a plus
- Knowledge of effective hiring practices (e.g. social media recruiting)
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong decision-making skills
- Outstanding organization ability
